Strmol castle

10 kilometres from Brdo estate and just 3 kilometres from Jože Pučnik Ljubljana international airport lies a beautiful castle from 13th century. Professionally renovated in 2010–2012 it represents a perfect location for boutique events.

The castle has a soul; its luxurious interior tells the story of a rich industrial Rado Hribar, the owner of Strmol estate from 1936–1944. Here, he and his wife Ksenija, both very extravagant, cosmopolitans and art lovers hosted numerous respectable members of Slovenian and European society of the time. Their sophisticated taste for home décor is recognizable even today.

Congress centre Brdo

Congress centre Brdo covers approximately 9000 m2 of functional surface. In the entrance hall a majestic piece of art full of Slovenian symbols greets you. From here various paths lead you to different halls. The Splendens hall and Glass hall are something special with their glass walls offering a superb view to the grand Brdo estate. Four bigger halls (Grandis, Splendens, Heros, and Glass hall) are supplemented by four meeting rooms in the first floor able to host up to 10 people, and 20 separate working places.

GRANDIS HALL Grandios and Multifunctional:
This is the biggest hall in the congress centre Brdo (558 m2). It is suitable for all sorts of events. Apart from conferences, seminars, congresses, it is also possible to organize concerts, shows, or solemn events in this hall. The hall is equipped with 12 cabins for interpreters.

SPLENDENS HALL Open and Bright:
This very bright hall covers 292 m2 of the congress centre Brdo's main floor. There is a beautiful view on the park and a convenient exit to the terrace.

GLASS HALL Bright and Viewy:
The hall with a view of the nature. It can be adapted for meetings of different sizes. It covers 213 m2. Since the size of the hall can be adapted to an individual needs, these halls are very suitable for team work.

HEROS HALL Intimate:
Heros hall is located in the congress centre Brdo's lower area and covers 272 m2. This hall can be divided into two, three or four smaller halls of equal size. The hall has an exit to the terrace.
